Albatross Courtship, fencing ritual
Endemic to Espanola, the elaborate courtship of the Waved Albatross includes crossing beaks like two fencers in a duel, followed by their sky-pointing beak display. The mating dance culminates with with beaks opening wide and snapping loudly shut.
